Twins are on their way! Shower her with a party that’s double the fun. When planning this event, think multiples for everything from the invite to the cake; even the favor.
The Invite: This graphic dual-buggy invitation alerts guests that they’ll be having twice as much fun at this shower.
The Decor: Choose neutral colors in a trendy color combination, such as the lime green and chocolate brown in our invitation. Decorate half of the room in green, and use brown for the rest. For the tables, craft a double topiary. Pick up a foam two-tiered topiary form and faux silk flowers in green and brown from a craft store. Insert the form into a garden pot. Then, hot-glue faux flowers in shades of either green or brown to cover the foam balls. Tie on a green or brown ribbon at the neck to finish.
The Cake: Whip up or order two smaller cakes, one for each little bundle of joy. Use your color combo here too, decorating one cake in green, the other in brown, and ask to have “Baby A” or “Baby B” written on each cake, or each baby’s name or initial.
The Game: Let the mama-to-be know her twins will be in good company. Prepare a printout with a list of famous people and have guests guess if they have a twin or not. You could also include family and friends on the list to make it more personal. Although more of a well-known game, this Baby Shower Bingo set from Bada Bada Baby is geared toward twins. Yummy prizes can include Double Stuf Oreos and packs of Twix.
The Favor: For a humorous takeaway, hand out packs of Wrigley’s “Doublemint” gum. To dress them up, glue on a small bow and attach a narrow thank-you label to the back.
