There's nothing like fun baby news to spice up last night's lackluster Emmy Awards! I don't know about you, but the red carpet is pretty much all I need to watch (okay, and a little Jon Hamm screentime doesn't hurt either). Anyway, two baby bombshells were dropped last night: Amanda Peet is expecting her third child and Hayden Panettiere is having a baby girl!
Okay, let's divide and conquer.
Hayden owned the red carpet in a gorgeous pink sequined Lorena Sarbu maternity gown, and with good reason!
"I can't wait for her to come out, this little one," Hayden said, and then confirmed to E!'s Giuliana Ranic, "Yes, it's a little girl. I want to go shopping for my girl. I want to paint the room appropriately."
The Nashville star also dished on what she and fiance Wladimir Klitschko will name their baby girl. "We have to make sure that it is American and Ukrainian all at the same time. That's a little rough...we're still working on it."
Back at the ranch, Amanda brought an unannounced baby bump to the red carpet to let everyone know she's expecting her third baby with husband David Benioff!
Already a mama to Frances Pen and Molly June, the actress looked radiant in a floral Giambattista Valli number and remained mum on pregnancy details — except her age.
"42 [years-old] and pregnant is quite something," Amanda told Us Weekly. "I'll be taking these heels off in a minute."
Do you love Hayden and Amanda's red carpet maternity gowns? Which one would you wear?
