Make way for some mini-cowgirl booties, y'all! The country singin' star Jessie James and her Denver Bronco's babe, uh, I mean husband, Eric Decker , welcomed their first daughter together on the March 18th. A rep for the couple told E! News that, "Jessie went into the hospital [March 17th] at 3:30 p.m. and at 5:36 a.m. this morning, Vivianne Rose Decker was born, weighing 8lbs., 2 oz. with a full head of hair! Both mom and daughter are doing well." Okay, if mom and dad's gorgeous manes are any indication of what's to come for baby Vivienne, watch out Pantene, because you are going to have some serious competition for hair so healthy it shines.
On Monday, while she was at the hospital, mama-to-be shared a photo of herself getting ready for delivery:
She captioned it, "Lots of tears, nerves, smiles, and excitement. Just so anxious to meet our baby girl." Her quote sums up those hours leading up to motherhood so well. It's terrifying, liberating, exciting and one hell of a ride.
The couple, who's most known for their reality TV show, Eric & Jessie: Game On, are currently filming the second season of their hit series, but planning to keep baby's birth off camera. Jessie said, "I'm going to probably have a personal camera to film the actual birth. But there will not be a birth for people to see. It's something we wanted to keep personal to us, but you will see bits and pieces of that experience."
Kudos to the new parents for keeping their daughter's delivery close to their hearts! And congratulations on their newest (and no doubt sweetest!) addition. Can't wait to see little baby Viv.
Did you film your baby's delivery?
