Today, the CPSC, in conjunction with Infinitoy, Inc. announced a voluntary recall on the Super Safari Set and the Deluxe C ircus Train Set due to a choking/aspiration hazard posed by the small play-set figures. Of the 7,134 units recalled, there has only been one incident reported. An 18-month-old placed a toy hat in her mouth, but the figure was removed before baby was seriously injured.
The Super Safari Set (model number #30025) and the Deluxe Circus Train Set (model #30040) were sold in a white box with the words: "Softimals. Build. Play. Repeat" written in a colorful font on the front and back of the package. Each set comes with numerous plastic pieces that can be fit together to build pulling cars and animals such as a hippo, giraffe, zebra and more.
If you own either set, you should immediately remove the plastic hat from two of the figures: Safari Sam and Mighty Mike. You can contact Infinitoy, Inc. to exchange the hat for a free replacement figure. You can contact Infinitoy, Inc. toll-free at (888) 558-0933 or visit them online at I nfinitoy.com.
