ER.MER.GERD y'all! If you were hoping that Prince George was as adorable as his mummy and daddy, it's time for a big sigh of relief 'cause the royal baby has granted your wish!
The handsome little charmer shows off his good side below in his first official portrait. The photos look personal, relaxed — and totally real. If it wasn't for the fact that these royals were recognizable anywhere, I might even mistake them for my next door neighbors. It's a far cry from the stuffy, traditionalist photos that the royal family is known for taking, and I love how comfortable Will and Kate look smiling alongside their little guy — seems like bucking with tradition continues to work for them. The family of three (plus two dogs) posed in the backyard garden of the Middleton family home in Bucklebury while Michael Middleton , Kate's dad, snapped the now-famous shots.
A palace aide told Us Weekly that "William and Catherine wanted to release photos that are more natural and personable, something more intimate." Kate did ask Amanda Cook Tucker, a freelance hairstylist with whom she's frequently worked, to travel to Bucklebury and get her world-famous locks ready for the camera. (We can't blame her!)
Though he's a catching a quick snooze, how down-to-earth (and tired!) do Kate Middleton and Prince William look?
Oh look, even the family's dog, Lupo, managed to squeeze into the photo and show off his own pearly whites! Love it, royal dog.
Stay tuned for more photos!
