Savannah Guthrie is now a proud mama! The Today Show host welcomed her first child, a baby girl, with husband Mike Feldman on August 13. Vale Guthrie Feldman was born early in the morning and weighed in at eight pounds and five ounces and measured 19.5 inches long.
Savannah hinted that she had given birth when she tweeted, "My 3am wake up call sounds a lot different now. Sweeter..."
She also wrote, "Every new parent must want to shout their happy news to the world. So lucky we got to do it on @TODAYshow! We are bursting with joy. #Vale."
Vale's first picture debut was taken by her newlywed parents (when she was sound asleep) and captioned, "Vale, on the other hand, slept through the whole thing."
The newborn "has blue eyes, a little bit of blondish hair and the chubbiest cheeks you've ever seen," Savannah told Today. "I think we found heaven in this little hospital room in New York City... Mike and I are so overcome with happiness, gratitude and joy.”
We expect Vale to already be the smartest baby around, simply because of the newspaper-themed baby shower that Savannah was thrown.
Congrats to the new family!
