It's the moment pregnant fashionistas everywhere have been waiting for — the moment Kate Middleton was first spotted shopping for a maternity wardrobe. And while the "glimpse of Kate's baby bump" was a little disappointing, (what bump?), at least we got a peek into what the royal mom-to-be is shopping for as her belly begins to show (which we do believe is actually happening).
According to US Weekly, Kate was spotted shopping in London last week wearing a (non-maternity) Zara plaid cape — which is what completely concealed that bump. (Sorry everyone. The cape is from the 2010 collection, so it's no longer on sale.) A cape like this is a great pick because it will last you most of pregnancy and you'll want to wear it after. She wore it with a black scarf, black sweater, leggings and brown Really Wild boots.

While she was out and about, Kate reportedly bought a pair of yoga leggings at British department store, Selfridge's. She's also been spotted buying maternity clothes at London boutique, JoJo Maman Bebe, and has ordered items from Asos Maternity Line.

And it sounds like she's going to need plenty to wear. The mom-to-be apparently has a busy schedule in the coming months, and it's not just about planning the nursery. "Catherine's arranging meetings with the charities she is involved with and planning future engagements before the baby is born," a royal source told Us.
