Just Us!
How we met, yikes its kind of foggy. It seems so long ago. Through a mutual friend at a party but there was no love connection right off the bat, though both of us were interested in one another. A few months and conversations later and hanging out more frequently we had an attraction for one another that was outta this world. Actually, J needed a house/cat sitter and M had a leg injury (she was on tour with a Drag King troupe) busted her knee and needed to recuperate and make some extra cash, so she came to house/cat sit and never left. (What can I say I fell in love with the hired help.)
We had our “official” date on July 4, 2002 we met each others family. We then moved to the Bay area so J can finish school (she was on the 10 yr plan) and enjoyed their time in the Bay. Then J got a job in Santa Barbara, Ca and they moved back to Southern California.
They Domestic partnered on Friday , April 13, 2007. Don’t freak out about the Friday the 13th deal. J and M are bit on the dark side a bit macabre so it was very appropriate for them. They then decided to get married even though it was not legal yet in CA. To them legal or not they wanted to profess their love to one another among family and dear friends! So they did, they had a pretty traditional but knowing them unique wedding on November 11, 2007 and then legally on September 14, 2008 then they caught the Baby bug.
In the summer of 2009 they decided to move to Nevada. It was a financially sound decision but a tough one for them.
Trying to conceive was a year long journey, it has been a roller coaster of a ride. Testing their relationship and emotions.
Finally, they caught a break though the clinic they were going to and entered a Clinical IVF trial and are currently pregnant with twins.
Pink or Blue, we have no clue. But pretty soon, there will be two.
So excited!
