I am a second year midwifery student at Birthwise Midwifery School in Maine. In the next month, I will be a Certified Green Birth Educator and I hold a current certification as a Basic Life Support Instructor through the American Heart Association and as a Pediatric First Aid Instructor through the American Academy of Pediatrics.
We are not currently trying to conceive, but do hope to have a baby in the future. I have joined The Bump as an opportunity to learn more about pregnancy and childbirth from a more personal perspective--rather than a clinical one--and to make connections with other women on their reproductive journeys.
