My Shortcuts:

TTC

GeeksnSqueaks

Eric and I (Bry) are both student who love to have a good time with close friends and family. Neither of us are big party or event type people, and he is very low key take it as it comes to my need to plan things and account for all factors so its a great mix! He levels me out and I help him understand other peoples perspectives be it academically or socially. We recently decided that we would like to start the process of TTC, after a long discussion about the future, and if we really felt we were waiting or not waiting for the right reasons, and what would have to get done before hand, something we have decided to keep to ourselves until the pre-conception stuff is taken care of. We are set to be married in August of 2012 in a wedding themed blast from the past 50's - 80's, in what should if be a small to medium sized event (baring no more complications). Eric is in his final year of studies before being set out to do a 10 month practicum in a different city so we will be moving at the end of this year, and the plan is for me to take 2-3 years off study, work and help him through it and then return part time to studies. Since I am unable to drink we are hoping to be anywhere between 1-4 months pregnant by our wedding, but given my family and his family medical records and luck in this matter we will have to see...it could turn in to a very long road ahead but that is why we thought to get started, especially with the before hand testing, doctors, dentist stuff so as it gets closer we know what we are getting ourselves in to. Which helps when we both helped our parents with younger siblings, me more than him,and I helped my friend in high school raises his son for several years. And we have little doubt it is different, but all experience is good, and with living close to family and friends we are sure we can manage just about anything that comes up! so that's us in a nut shell, mellow geeks who simply enjoy learning and each others company getting into the swing of TTC.
