Blake's Journey from TTC Drama Queen to First Time Mother
Hello, My name is Blakelyn and I am 20, my husband Ken has been a great friend and wonderful partner for just under two years now. He's my world and every day is an adventure with him, so when we decided to start a family, we thought it would be easy. We learned rather we quickly learned we had no idea how hard conceiving actually was. We started trying in September 2010 and in October we were pregnant! We were ecstatic and told EVERYONE! We lost our first baby at 4 weeks and 6 days. We were devastated. We picked ourselves up by the bootstraps and found out two months to the day of our loss that we were expecting again! This time, we were precautions. We didn't tell anyone but some close friends and are refraining from telling the family until the second trimester. We're awaiting our new arrival in October 2011 and couldn't be happier!
