Grace Family

Updated 3/5/13 Kaden is now 7 almost 8 months old and it has been the most amazing experience having him join our family. His spirit and bubbly personality are infectious. I can't imagine life without him. Talk about #2 has already started, we're thinking of TTC again in the Fall of 2013. ********************************************** Archived Post: Updated 7/31/12 Kaden Alexander was born 7/13/12 at 11:51am weighing 9.5lbs and 22" long. We had a great experience with a Water Birth at home with our amazing Midwife and birth team. We're all doing well and adjusting to these early weeks of parenthood. Our little guy is AMAZING and we're so enamored. Looking forward to forever. *********************************************** Archived Post: Yay!!! We're pregnant again. BFP this morning (10/29/11). Due 7/10/12. (We were pregnant with our first baby due on 12/15/11 - missed- miscarriage (11.5 weeks) at 13.5 weeks on June 23rd, had a D&C.) We live in Northern California. My favorite things are traveling, snorkeling (and scuba diving, which we did for the first time in Aruba this past December) And just got certified in Belize in July 2011 - a treat after a really hard couple of weeks... Also reading, writing fiction, good food, movies and great coffee(a thing of the past). Next trip is Fiji, New Zealand and Australia (Great Barrier Reef) in December/January. So excited :) Plans for the future: still in the works but the creative juices are flowing to try to figure out how best to raise our family, finish grad school and continue our careers and dreams. It's a very exciting (and slightly stressful) time. Interests: Sustainable/Green living, alternative birth plans (hoping for a home birth with a midwife).

congratulations, you seem like a real savvy momma! I am so glad you were able to have the home birth experience you hoped for, this is a blessing. We just learned that we are expecting, hopefully the pregnancy is healthy so we also can experience a home birth. Way to go momma - and the best wishes for your ongoing success in grad school and global travel!
