Hello!!
My name is Jess and I am a full time employee, full time student, AND fulltime mommy =) I married one of my best friends (cliche, i know) Craig in August 2010. In November we found out that we were expecting our second child and were both terribly excited! On November 24th I was rushed to the doctors will cramping and heavy bleeding and was told that I had passed the pregnancy. Devestated we left the office, the nurses let us go out the back so I didn't have to see the happy pregnant women in the waiting room. I felt like my whole world just fell apart but kept working and tackling the end of the semester projects that I had waiting. On December 1st I called the doctors office crying because I was still having pregnancy symptoms and they were getting worse. I was told to come in for an ultrasound to see it tissue was still in my uterus. I had a hard time finishing out the work day thinking that my body was trying to save dead tissue and I was feeling all the nausea and uncomfortable-ness for nothing. When the ultrasound tech said "there's your baby" I lost it. THe room started to spin. My husband was yelling at her. She had no idea why we were upset because no one told her I "miscarried" in fact she was given the wrong chart to begin with and had no idea I was coming in. We're now with a different practice with a new due date- the same due date as our first child. And instead of mourning we're prepping, trying to find a house (we live with family- I was on the pill btw), and hoping we don't have 2 kids with the same birthday =)
