New Mommy
I'm a new, young, and unmarried mommy-to-be. I'm only 16, and when I found out I was pregnant, the whole family took it as a surprise. It's been very stressful, being so young, but I know what has to be done for the health of my baby as well as myself. Although my age is significant in this situation, I chose to keep my baby, being that I strongly disagree with abortion, and I don't think I could ever give up my own baby for adoption. I'm excited about the whole experience, and I enjoy it when I'm not stressed out. When I found out the baby was a girl, I was just ecstatic, I knew all along it was a girl, but my parents wanted a grandson, since they had 3 daughters, and one granddaughter already. My boyfriend, Nick, also wanted a boy, but he's happy with our baby girl, too. I chose the name Lila because it just sounded right to me. I knew before anything else, that this would be her name. Nick and I are just dying to meet our new baby girl, who should be here in late June or early July.
