I met my best friend when I was 16 years old and a junior in high school. 5 years later he asked me to marry him and we have been married for 6 years now. We have the greatest relationship and know everything about the the other person, we have a great marriage, and we truly are best friends. We are just missing one thing in our lives and that is the blessing of a beautiful baby or babies! We got pregnant in January 2010 and misscarried 8 weeks later on March 5, 2010. We grieved our loss and decided to try again and we conceived in September 2010 and everything was going fine until our 20 week ultrasound appointment where our world crashed down around us. The doctors told us our baby had a condition called body stalk anomaly, which is 100% fatal. It basically means his belly and chest cavities were wide open with no protective tissues around it. We were tol that we needed to decide whether to continue with an unviable pregnancy or end our baby's suffering and pain. We let nature take its course a bit and 2 weeks later we had a D&E and he was delivered in tact and we had him baptized and cremated. We named him Isaiah David. He is our little angle and I grive his loss every single day and still cry rather frequently about the loss of my son! We are actively trying to conceive again and are praying for a better result in the end!
