I am a 33 year old mother of a beautiful 7 year old little girl. She is the result of a previous relationship. We will become a blended family December 17th when I marry the man of my dreams. My pregnancy with my DD was amazing!! I didn't know that I was pregnant until I was almost 3 months. There was 1 instance of me vomiting and I didn't have weird cravings. I did, however, go into early labor twice with her. Once at 26 weeks and again at 29 weeks. Thank GOD they were able to stop the contractions and I wasn't put on bed rest. I was induced since I was 3 days overdue, they were thinking that she was upwards of 9 pounds (I'm only 5'3") and I was totally miserable at this point. Did I mention that it was May in south Georgia? Miserable!!! After 23 hours of labor, my little Peanut decided that she was going to turn sideways and not budge. So, I ended up having a C-section. A day and a half later we were going home. DD breasfed for 8 months, was on formula for about 4 months, went to skim milk and then took over the whole milk. She is an intelligent, beautiful, caring, loving little girl that shows me every day what life is all about. I am looking forward to the day when DH and I are expecting our first child together to add to this blessed union. Until then, we are going to enjoy the blessing that we have and each other.
