Our Most Current Adventure

My name is Lindsey and I live in North Carolina with my absolutely goofy and kind-hearted husband. We're nothing out of a Better Homes and Gardens magazine, he yells at the computer and I belch loud enough to wake a small village. We're very nice people and we've been through a lot as a couple. We were married in October of 2009 before he was sent to Afghanistan. He serves our country as a US Marine and I pack up my own gear as a photographer in the area. We have a cat who thinks he's a dog and a German Shepherd that thinks she's a cat. Until recently, that had been our family, and we loved it! We're pleased to announce that we're finally pregnant! We've been TTC since July 2010 and have been through two deployments and training that had me feeling like we'd never get that BFP! I actually didn't get a positive result with HPTs, but went in after I was two weeks late and got blood drawn to see what the hold up was! When I received the phone call, the nurse began telling me when to schedule my first prenatal check up and all sorts of additional info... After she congratulated me, I missed everything else she'd said - SO, I called her back!! We're so excited and feel so blessed! Can't wait to see our little sweet pea!
