Baby Girl Due October, 2011!
I'm 29 years old, and have been married for almost 3 years to my wonderful husband.
We started trying to conceive almost two years ago, and got pregnancy on our second try. At 9 weeks, we lost that baby due to a blighted ovum. I waited but did not miscarry naturally, so I was given medication to induce the miscarriage as I didn't want a d&c.
Shortly after that, we began trying again. After a year, we learned that my miscarriage had messed up my hormones & my body could not carry a pregnancy without help. My doctor prescribed Clomid, and after 1 month I was happily pregnant again.
We found out that it's a baby girl, and I am more than halfway through the pregnancy. I have had morning sickness 24/7, but it's worth it. Our ultrasound showed a perfectly healthy baby, so we are thrilled & can't wait to meet her! It's been a long journey!
Update: Our little girl was born on October 13th, 2011! She is beautiful & healthy, and was born with her first tooth already! It's a rare thing, but it happens. And we consider her a rare little miracle anyways. She has brought so much joy to our lives already, and is perfect in every single way. Her name is Kacie, and we love her so much!
