Ready for more than "Just the Two of Us"
My husband and I met 20 years ago as friends. 15 years later, we ran into each other at a popular dance spot. We danced and caught up for a few minutes and went our separate ways. Fast forward 5 years and we met again. This time at the same congregation! At this point, I could tell there was chemistry. Since he's shy, I would invite him to outings and events with mutual friends. He would usually decline politely. I finally got the nerve to flat out tell him that I liked him. Well this worked like a charm! I couldn't get him off the phone most nights! We dated for 6 months and got married in October 2009. We spend most of our time being newlyweds and fixing up our home (major remodel). As of November, 2010, we've been trying to expand our family beyond ourselves, a dog and a cat. We recently experienced a miscarriage. While hurt, we're still determined and focused on our goal of bringing a little bitty "us" into the world. Here's hopin'!
