Monica Bird
My family recently moved to Holloman Air Force Base in New Mexico. I am a very lucky military wife, in that we were stationed in a place where I have tons of family near by. Not every wife gets this lucky. I grew up in Anchorage, Alaska which was an amazing experience. I spent my summers playing softball (which is how my husband and I met,) camping, fishing, and hiking. After attending college in New Mexico, my body no longer liked the cold, so I mostly stayed inside during the winters. My husband and I will be celebrating our first anniversary this February. Then we are expecting our baby girl, Lillyanna in March. We are so excited. I am loving being pregnant, but can not wait to finally see her and hold her.
