My Sweet Wyatt
My name is Ashley, I am 21 years old. I will Marry my best friend and father of our sweet baby boy Wyatt in October. A little about Wyatt Marshall's Arrivial Wyatt was born a 32 week premie.. 4 lbs 6 oz and 19 1/4 in.. He was in the NICU for a month. It was the longest month of my life! I had preeclampsia we almost did not catch it in time. Since I had an emergency c-section wyatt only got one steriod shot for his lungs (only had it 8 hours before they realized my liver was shutting down) Because his lungs were not strong enough he was on a ventilator for a week, then an oxygen helmet, then c pap machine for another week and then moved to nasal canula. Of course he was on a feeding tube for a while and he had a lot of trouble eating. he was one of the "wimpy white boys" as they like to call it in the NICU. We would start a count down and he would he drop his O2 every time. It was a long process to get him home. Now I wouldn't trade it for the world.
