It's A Beautiful Life!
My name is Brehana and I am truly blessed to have 2 boys, 1 stepdaughter, and an amazing husband. I am so grateful for this wonderful life that we have created. At this point in my life I am following my dreams and my true passion of being involved with families during their pregnancies and births. I am currently training to become a birth doula through DONA, and a Childbirth Educator through Birthworks International. This passion of mine goes back to my roots; My father was a true innovator of his time, He advocated for women having informed choices regarding the birth process. He was an OBGYN who not only attended the standard hospital births but also started a birthcenter for gentle birth and he did homebirths as well. I delivered my children safely at home, and I feel very privileged to have been able to do so. I strongly believe that women along with their families deserve to be more educated about birth and a woman's capabilities to give birth as she desires.
