Baby Allison
Allison was born February 7th 2011 at 6:27 pm and she was 6 lbs. 1 oz. It was a shock to the system when Allison was born. I had carried her in my tummy for 9 months and 3 weeks and now here she was, this tiny, puffy and squirmy little thing. I couldn't stop staring at her, she was possibly the most beautiful thing I had ever had the pleasure of laying eyes on. With the excitement came the terror, a few months before, Allison's father was arrested on false charges and sentenced to 2 years at a correctional facility after being forced into a plea agreement. Meaning I was left alone with Allison until her father came home. I was so unsure of myself, of raising a baby on my own. I will admit it took me a few days to get used to the idea, but I came to realize... I could do this alone for the time being. I could be a single mother and love this little girl with all my heart and give her every waking moment. Her father will be home soon and I am glad he will be coming home, but I'm thankful for the time I have with my little girl. She is everything. Allison is now 11 months and will soon be 12 months, it's hard to believe. She is getting bigger every day and she is the happiest little girl I have head the pleasure of knowing. I love this little girl with all my heart and it's going to be one fun adventure raising her.
