1st time!!!

My DH and I have been married for a year and a half, together for almost 8 years. We have been in our house for the last year and we are now having our 1st baby. We are due in December and I live in ND so that is a pretty cold time of year around here. My own birthday is at the beginning of January, so I know exactly what it is like to have a Christmas birthday- it stinks!!! I plan on making sure our baby NEVER has to share their birthday with Christmas. I had to all the time growing up and hated it! My older brothers' got their own birthdays, but I was stuck with double stuff. Getting 1 big present is not as fun as getting 2 smaller ones!!! :) I will be turning 30 less than a month after the baby is born, so I am really excited about having a baby before 30!!! That was always a goal! Our current babies are our 4 kitties, 2- 10 year old Siamese sisters and 2- under a year old Tabby sisters. They will have to learn how to share us with the new little one! I already have 9 nieces and nephews- only 2 are nephews, so we are hoping for a boy to help even out all of the girls that my brothers' have had. Both my DH and I are the youngest in our families, my brothers all are married with kids, but only his brother has had 1 munchkin and his sisters haven't had any yet. I know that no matter what we have, our baby will be loved and spoiled by both sides!!! My mom was already looking at cribs the day after we told her! Unfortunately, both of DH's parents are gone, so my parents are the only grandparents, but they are ready to love the little one! I have been very fortunate not to have any ms as of yet. I did find out that I can no longer eat red meat and steak was my favorite food! I crave fresh fruits and veggies!!! I am struggling to get my protein and calcium in though as both meat and milk are not appealing to me. I can't wait to feel the first movements and to actually start feeling pregnant!
