A Little Bit about Me
I met my husband, Joe, by chance in the summer of 2005. We starting dating shortly after. We moved into a new house together by September 2005, a few days after Joe's mother passed away very suddenly and unexpectedly. By October, 2005 Joe asked me to marry him. We finally were married in our County Courthouse in March 2009. We started to try for a baby right away, with no success until a few fertility medications in October 2010, and *POOF* I was pregnant!!! Expecting in August 2011, I was so very excited, as was our families. Joe wanted a boy first. I did to, until I found out at 23 weeks i was pregnant with a boy. Then I wanted a girl. But I could not be any happier with my chunky monkey, my peanut, my pumpkin, my sweet mama's boy!!! My labor was pretty easy. I had my first contraction about 11:30 pm on August 7th. It literally brought me to my knees, then all four's crying out in agonizing pain. It lasted about 2 minutes. My next contraction wasn't for another 25 minutes, which was pretty mild. I was sitting in my rocking chair, Joe rubbing my belly, when I thought I had wet myself. So I got up went to the bathroom, Joe went to get me a new pair of panties then go to bed. That's when I started to laugh out loud. Joe asked me what was funny. I simply replied, my water broke. Get in the truck. I was already 1 centimeter dilated before I went into labor. By 2 am on August 8th, I was 8 centimeters dilated, 15 minutes later, I was 9. By 4:33, my baby was born. Only pushing for 13 minutes. Everything went smoothly. My life is complete thus far! in about 9 months, Joe and I are going to try to give our son a little brother or sister.
