Brand New!

Hello everyone! I'm brand new to thebump.com and also a first time mom to be! I will be sharing my joys and struggles with everyone around me and am always willing to listen to anyone who needs someone to vent to, advice, or just wants to chat. I have Spina Bifida, so my DH and I were concerned this day may never come, but to our surprise last week we found out it did :) - we gave up actively trying to conceive because it seemed to do more harm that good...TOO MUCH STRESS!. I have my first appointment in 2 days and i am so nervous/excited! First Appointment

Everything looks good so far! Went in for my first appointment at 7 weeks and 6 days and did all the normal first appointment stuff. My insurance doesn't cover an early ultrasound unless deemed medically necessary so that concerns me a little but I have an appointment with a special high risk clinic (because of my Spina Bifida) on Thursday so maybe I can talk them into one :P haha
