Our first miracle baby
My husband David and I have been together for almost seven years, and have been married less than a year. I have had endometriosis for the eight years. It was always monitored with birth control and I have had two laproscopic surgeries. In June 2010, only a month after our wedding, I was rushed into the hospital. The doctors discovered that the endometriosis has spread at a very rapid pace through my uterus, on my ovaries, and now on my bladder and strangling my intestines. The doctors suggested that I try to conceive as soon as possible because a hysterectomy is needed. And the chances of conceiving will be extremely slim. After 7 months of trying to conceive and almost losing all hope, on January 21, 2011 I took a pregnancy test and finally got my Big Fat Positive!!! Of all months, I would have sworn I was not pregnant, but it happened. On January 22, 2011 I was rushed to the hospital with some bleeding and pains and was told I was experiencing a threatened miscarriage and that I needed to be on bed rest for a while and that I will have a high risk pregnancy. I am doing everything in my power to assure I will have a healthy pregnancy and baby. I worked to hard for this one and don't plan on letting this baby go that fast. However, I am making sure to enjoy every minute of it~including the morning sickness, cramps, gas, headaches, and sore sore sore breasts. LOL.
