Second Pregnancy Story

Today we had a positive pregnancy test. I took it on a whim because my breasts were abnormally sore. Yesterday in the GYN's office it was negative. I showed it to my husband and said, "what does that say?" He looked at me with a huge smile and we hugged and there were some happy tears. We are so thrilled. We tried for 4 months this time. We were very aggressive about conceiving this 4th month; I used ovulation indicators and we "went for it" 4 out of the next 5 days. What a success! I am so happy. And I'm not sure if my mind is playing tricks on me but I feel a little nauseated even though I'm only 4 weeks past LMP. God is good. I will gladly deal with the nausea and any other annoying pregnancy symptom that comes along because we wanted this pregnancy sooooo badly. Thank you God. Please make this one healthy! I am 9 weeks along now. We had the first OB appointment this week. Everything looked great except for cervical irritation. We saw the baby's tiny heart flicker on the ultrasound. The midwife said our baby looks like a sea-horse on the sonogram. We still prefer to call it our peanut. It is the most amazing thing to see those small limb movements and the tiny heart flickering away. I feel so much better since we saw the heartbeat. Our entire family and close friends know the news now. This weekend we will put the announcement online, Facebook.
