After residency and chief residency at Childrens Hospital of Los Angeles, Dr. Paul Horowitz worked in Canyon Country for almost 9 years where he enjoyed caring for thousands of children in the community. After a detour to Portland, OR for 3yrs where he was the medical director of Pediatric clinics for a Children’s Hospital, he returned to Valencia where he and his wife Dr. Daphne Horowitz opened Discovery Pediatrics in February 2008.

They built Discovery Pediatrics to provide top-notch care in an environment that is focused on quality, not just quantity. The practice is engineered to make sure they always have time to address the questions and concerns of patients when their needs and schedules require.

When not seeing patients, he can be found advocating for health through various media outlets. He has worked with many companies to promote health, health care, and safety for children and is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

Personal interests include travel, close-up magic, water sports, and most importantly, spending time with family and close friends.
