Growth spurts usually last for about 24 to 48 hours and boost your milk supply to meet his growing needs. (Some moms say they can stretch to a full week.) During this time, baby will want to nurse frequently (sometimes as often as once every hour) and might be a bit fussier than usual, which is totally normal.
