Daphne Oz Announces Second Pregnancy
Daphne Oz, co-host of daytime cooking show The Chew, added a little more spice to Thursday’s episode by announcing she’s pregnant again!
During a segment that covered things the co-hosts “may or may not know about each other,” Oz couldn’t keep the smile off her face as she revealed a sign that kept it short and sweet: “I’m pregnant!”
Oz, who is married to her college sweetheart John Jovanovic, gave birth to a daughter last March. The baby’s full name, Philomena Bijou Jovanovic, can be abbreviated to PB — we wonder if the couple will give baby no. two another foodie nickname.
The TV host and daughter of Mehmet Oz, MD, of _The Dr. Oz Show, _is all about healthy living. She dished to The Bump about her first pregnancy, gave healthy lifestyle tips for moms-to-be, and revealed her plans for her postbaby body. She has also collaborated with The White Ribbon Alliance, an organization dedicated to providing safe births for moms around the world.
However, Oz also keeps it real as a mom. When her baby weight didn’t come off as quickly as she’d hoped after Philomena was born, she kept a positive attitude. “The weight isn’t pouring off,” she told Fitness magazine, "but I figure that it takes nine months to have a baby and it’ll take at least that long for it to come off.”
Congratulations to Oz and Jovanovic!
