Dr. Becky and Peppa Pig Team Up to Talk Big Feelings and Big Changes
A new parenting dream team has arrived.
Good Inside psychologist and social media favorite Dr. Becky Kennedy has partnered with the iconic British preschool show Peppa Pig on a new YouTube series, Pig Changes, Big Feelings. The collaboration comes at a pivotal moment for the Pig family, who just welcomed their third child, Evie. In the three-part series, Dr. Becky helps the family navigate big feelings, tricky transitions and even answers the age-old question: how are babies made?
The first 3-minute and 30-second video is live now and dives into Peppa’s sudden trouble sleeping through the night. Consulting with Dr. Becky over the phone, Mommy and Daddy Pig explain that Peppa, who was previously a solid sleeper, is now getting up multiple times each night.
Step by step, Dr. Becky walks them through how the big changes at home might be affecting Peppa’s sleep and what they can do to help. From talking openly about the changes to reassuring Peppa that big feelings about a new sibling are normal, Dr. Becky provides gentle, expert-backed strategies and practical tips for both parents and kids.
The episodes are part of the broader parent-focused Muddy Puddle Parenting series from the Peppa Pig team. Designed to meet modern families where they are, the series offers playful, practical and educational content and is set to debut in August. In the meantime, parents can look forward to more Pig Changes, Big Feelings episodes and even download a free guide on managing irrational tantrums as part of the collaboration.
“Welcoming a new baby is a big shift — especially for older siblings, who may feel like their whole world is changing,” Kennedy said in a press release. “I loved partnering with Peppa Pig to help normalize those feelings, so parents can stay connected through it all.”
