Fisher-Price is recalling 34,000 products due to an issue with a seat peg that can create a falling hazard.

The company found that if the product is assembled incorrectly, the peg holding the seat in place can dislodge, causing the seat to fall. While Fisher-Price has received reports of two such incidents, there are currently no known injuries linked to this recall.

Fisher-Price announced that the recall affects three models of the swing sold between November 2015 and March 2016 at major retailers, including buybuyBaby, Target and Amazon:

  • CHM84 Soothing Savanna
  • CMR40 Sweet Surroundings
  • CMR43 Sweet Surroundings Butterfly Friend

To see if you own one of the recalled products, check for the product number under the seat pad.

While Fisher-Price is urging consumers to stop using the swing, the good news is that if have one of the affected swings, you don’t need to return or replace it. If your model number matches the ones above, contact contact Fisher-Price at 800-432-5437 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. ET Monday through Friday, or online at www.service.mattel.com and click on Recalls & Safety Alerts.
