Thanks to seven-month-old Grace, Gerber is getting a face lift. The East Petersburg, Pennsylvania baby was selected from a pool of more than 180,000 applicants to become the 2015 Spokesbaby.
We doubt that Grace will be doing much speaking on behalf of the brand, but her face will appear in a national ad and across Gerber’s website and social media platforms during 2015. Even better for mom and dad, her parents were awarded a $50,000 prize and a year’s supply of Gerber baby food.
"The photo that won was taken only five photos from when I started taking pictures of her that day,” says Grace’s mother Gabrielle in a press release. “She must have taken her hands out of her mouth and posed them like that for a split second because I didn’t even realize how cute she was posing until after I was completely done taking pictures and looking back at what I had just taken!”
“At Gerber, we are passionate about our annual Photo Search and recognize that every baby entered is a Gerber baby,” says Gerber Marketing Specialist Cassie Savage. “While many of the entry photos this year met our criteria, Grace’s captivating charm stole the judges’ hearts.
