Oh, baby! Ivanka Trump and her husband, Jared Kushner , are making way for baby number two this fall.
The dynamic duo, who are already parents to 20-month-old daughter Arabella Rose, confirmed their exciting baby-on-board news to People this morning.
Two-time mama-to-be, Ivanka, dished to the Redbook on what it's like to be a "working" mama, even though she hates that term. She said, "“Incidentally, I hate the expression ‘working mom,’ because when I’m with Arabella on the weekends, I’m much more exhausted on Monday morning than I am on Friday night!" I think the expression 'working' versus 'non-working' implies that a mother who stays home doesn't work. It's far more difficult than anything I do in the office." She went on to say, "Every morning I'm so sad to leave Arabella. But it's important for me to continue what I'm doing. It's fulfilling to me, and I think it makes me a better mom when I'm home."
As for grandaddy Donald, well, it looks like he'll need a bit more practice juggling two grandbabies — judging by his experience with soon-to-be big sister, Arabella. Ivanka joked, "He takes her all the time — but with me. He wouldn't know what to do if she was crying or needed a diaper change!"
Still, the Celebrity Apprentice judge said that her dad knows when to step up to the plate — she said, "I think he'd figure it out. He was always a great father in that he was always there." And if you thought work came before their family bonds — you're sorely mistaken! Mama Ivanka said, "Now that my brothers and I work with him, we've become even closer. If we talked a lot before, we speak 50 times a day now. I spend half the time in his office. It's wild." Looks like Arabella and baby number two are going to grow up with a strong, tight-knit presence around them and it's fabulous!
All we've got to say is — make way for The Trump Bump!
Congratulations to Ivanka, Jared, Arabella and granddaddy, Donald, on their exciting baby announcement!
