Maggie Rose is Pregnant! Expecting First Child with Austin Marshall

Maggie Rose has her best collaboration yet on the way!

The acclaimed singer-songwriter shared photos of her growing baby bump and the big news on December 13. “Austin and I are expecting our first son in April! I can’t wait to become a mother, and I know Austin is going to be the best dad to our little rock and roll baby,” she captioned an Instagram post.

“Our lives are going to get crazier but taking on those big plans in life is such a central theme of my last album,” Rose said in reference to her Grammy-nominated ‘No One Gets Out Alive’ album. “So it feels serendipitous that we received the fantastic news this year.”

So far the Americana artist says her pregnancy has been mostly smooth sailing. “I’m a professional napper now, especially on show days, but I feel grateful for how well I’ve felt throughout the pregnancy so far,” she added.

In the comments, music industry stars, friends and fans sent their congratulations to Rose and her husband for almost 10 years. “Ahhhh! Yay. Congrats, momma,” wrote country artist Jana Kramer. “Aww congrats!! So excited for you! Being a parent is amazing. Being a mom to a little boy is even MORE amazing,” added a fan.

Rose and Marshall tied the knot in June 2016 at her home church, Our Lady of Mercy, in Potomac, Maryland.
