Precious Cargo is recalling about 479,000 infant onesies, sold in sizes 6M, 12M and 18m, due to a choking hazard. The cotton onesies have three-snap bottom enclosures and were sold in the following colors: athletic heather, aquatic blue, candy pink, clover green, jet black, lime, navy, purple, red, royal, sangria, white and yellow.
Not sure if this CPSC warning applies to you? Precious Cargo is a wholesale baby apparel retailer, so take a look at any onesies you have with corporate or community organization logos on their fronts, or ones that have been customized or embellished in any way. Most customers probably picked them up on the go— they were sold at places like gift shops, screen printing shops and promotional product distributors from July 2014 through July 2015.
To check if your infant’s onesie is a Precious Cargo piece, look for an elephant printed on a blue tag sewn into the neck area. Style number CAR40 will also be visible on a white label in the left inside seam. The full list of style numbers is:
No incidents or injuries have been reported, but the company warns all customers to immediately stop using the onesies and contact Precious Cargo for a full refund.
