Introducing Rachel Zoe for Quinny And Maxi-Cosi
Packed inside the Dorel Juvenile booth at the ABC Kids Expo, the crowd waited for the mysterious, big announcement from Quinny and Maxi Cosi. As expected, a collective gasp of delight echoed through the space as the respective stroller and car seat companies unveiled their new collection: a trio of products designed by Rachel Zoe. But we are anything but surprised.
The celebrity stylist, mom to 4-year-old Skyler and almost-2-year-old Kai, launched a maternity line earlier this year. The launch coincided with another major move into the baby sphere: opening up an office nursery.
“In December I made one of the best business decisions I’ve ever made and opened a nursery in our West Hollywood office, right next door to Rachel Zoe Studio,” Zoe wrote in the May 4 edition of The Zoe Report. “Seeing how motivated and committed the mothers on my team were after returning from maternity leave and being able to set up their babies in the nursery has only solidified my belief that every company should consider this option.”
Ever since, we’ve been waiting to see what other parentally-friendly moves Zoe would make. And she’s made four at once, lending her design skills to the Quinny Moodd stroller, the Maxi-Cosi Mico Max 30 car seat, the Maxi-Cosi Pria 85 car seat and the Quinny Diaper Bag.
Featuring black and white fabric, cognac leather detailing and chunky gold zippers and embellishments, the on-trend collection was inspired by luxury vintage luggage.
Ranging from $200 to $850, the products will be available exclusively at Nordstrom beginning in the spring of 2016, expanding to other retailers later on.
