Time to completely reimagine what you think goes on after a concert.

“If you ever wonder what rappers do when they get off stage, they clean breast pumps for their wives so their baby can eat,” rapper George Moss captioned a Facebook photo on Monday, compete with the hashtag #thuglife.

He didn’t expect it to go viral.

With over 40,000 likes and hundreds of comments, the photo has earned Moss an unlikely new set of groupies: breastfeeding moms.

“You are awesome and an amazing husband. I wish my husband would clean my pumps,” reads one comment.

Moss responded: “You are the real hero for actually pumping. I’m getting too much credit for cleaning a couple bottles and suction thingies.”

And that’s the attitude Moss — who has responded to nearly every comment — is maintaining: It’s no big deal.

“Although I appreciate the love, likes, and kind words (and even the few party poopers that the internet undoubtably produces), its absolutely crazy that this all happened because I washed a couple bottles. If anyone should get the credit it should be people like my wife!” he wrote on a followup Facebook post with a photo of his wife nursing. “This woman amazes me! Through all the pain and soreness, frustrations, stress, etc. of trying to breastfeed and pump, she gets up in the middle of the night to nurse a hungry baby…and in the middle of me writing this post, she finished nursing him and then made me a late night snack too!”

Moss adds that he’s “sincerely blown away that more guys don’t support their women and children with breastfeeding,” and tagged  NormalizeBreastfeeding.org and  Elevate Dads in the post.

So, to answer your question — and the question of a few Facebook commenters — about who George Moss is, here’s his answer:

“I’m not actually a famous celebrity or anything, I just make music and share it with the people that connect with it. You can check out my videos on  YouTube.com/georgemoss.”

We have a feeling his level of fame is about to change, marking the first time that advocating for breastfeeding launches a rap career.
