Not sure how to tell the world you're pregnant? Take a cue from Reddit user MeggoEgggo1. As her photo caption states, it's "a nontraditional baby announcement for a nontraditional family." While her wife's shirt reads "I'm pregnant," hers says, "I'm not the father." Accurate, subtle, perfect.
Don't be fooled by the stunned face; MeggoEgggo1 (the blonde on the right) says this whole thing went according to plan, from deciding who would carry the baby to using intrauterine insemination (IUI). "My wife dated men before me so she always thought she'd be pregnant," she posted. "I wanted nothing to do with it. So it worked out." What about if there's a little brother or sister down the road? Meggo still says no way. "My wife wanted to biologically have at least one. We're adopting if we do it again."
Fellow Reddit users were quick to offer their congratulations — and offer up some clever puns.
Congratulations to the couple! Here's to hoping they post a birth announcement in a few months.
