Inside Whitney Port's Rooftop Baby Shower
You better believe Whitney Port’s baby shower was no backyard affair. The former star of The Hills celebrated her shower on a Beverly Hills hotel rooftop—and the photos are just as breathtaking as you’d imagine.
The shower, hosted last Friday by Port’s sisters and mother, was decidedly gender-neutral. Port and husband Tim Rosenman are waiting until the baby’s birth to find out the gender.
“It’s made buying anything harder,” Port told PEOPLE in March. “But so many brands are gender neutral now, so I think you just buy the necessities and wait until you find out to buy the specific things.”
She seems to have stuck to that mentality, adding several practical gender-neutral items to her Amazon Baby Registry. And we’re applauding five of her picks, in particular.
Best of luck to Port with snagging one of these mom-favorite changing pads; they’re routinely sold out. And with good reason: the contoured shape keeps a squirmy baby in place and the soft-but-solid material keeps all that gross diaper leakage out. No wonder it clinched a Best of Baby award last year.
While we’re biased toward the teepee version, this activity gym will keep baby entertained just as well with 17 different activities. It’s ultra developmentally-friendly; baby can enjoy overhead play, tummy time or seated play—all with one mat.
One of our Best of Baby winners, the Twist allows you to pump and store your milk in one step. Pump right into a pouch and pop it in the freezer organization system. Or slip the pouch into a bottle for an easy feeding.
More than anything, movement monitors offer peace of mind by letting you know your little one is stirring throughout the night. And the Snuza brand is one of our favorites—the clip-on design is easy to use.
Carry on with your life as your double electric pump does all the work. And this bra will last—it can adjust up to 10 inches as your size and shape change.
