Denise Porretto is a writer, copy editor and fact- checker based in Princeton, New Jersey. She has written for many print magazines and websites, primarily on the subjects of child health and development and women’s health. She has also copy-edited medical journals for prestigious publishers as well as grant proposals for Medscape. She is the co-author, with her sister, of A Promise Kept, a book that details the art legacy of her father. When she’s not working, she enjoys creating art pieces as a member of Princeton’s artist cooperative and hanging out with her two adult sons.
