About Our Process

To highlight the very best products available today, our seasoned editors (who are parents themselves!) scoured the market to identify the most loved and best selling items in each category, keeping in mind ease of use, quality and durability, value, comfort, style and the recommendations of medical and safety experts. And then we put those hundreds of products to the test.

The Bump enlisted dozens of new parents and parents-to-be to test these items in their homes and with their own children to evaluate how well they functioned in real-life settings. Based on this rigorous testing protocol, as well as the input from surveyed parents across the country, we awarded products that are truly deserving of The Best of The Bump stamp of approval.
