Sara Twogood, MD, FACOG, is a board-certified ob-gyn at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, and has more than 15 years of experience in medicine. She’s also the author of Ladypartsblog.com, which covers topics relating to fertility and pregnancy, and the founder of FemEd, a program established in 2020 that's designed to empower females through health education.

Education
Twogood earned her Bachelor of Science degree in biology and physical sciences from the University of California, Santa Barbara, in 2003. She went on to received her medical degree from Albany Medical College in New York in 2007, and completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Southern California, Los Angeles, in 2011.

Career Experience
Twogood served as an assistant professor of obstetrics and gynecology at the Keck School of Medicine, University of Southern California, from 2011 to 2019. She was also the medical director of USC OB-GYN Services and vice chair of the OB-GYN department.

She was the recipient of the Southern California Super Doctors Rising Stars award in 2017 and recognized as a Top Doctor by Pasadena Magazine and Los Angeles Magazine.
