Listen up, dads: Whether it’s your first Father’s Day or you’ve already amassed an impressive collection of ties and homemade cards, we’re taking you back to the moment it all began.

What was your reaction when you found out you were going to be a dad? How’d your partner break the news? This year’s Father’s Day campaign from Dove Men+Care is focusing on those “First Fatherhood Moments.” And as the video shows, those moments are pretty emotional.

“Real strength means showing you care even from the very first moment,” the video says. Whether it was through incredulous smiles or happy tears, these men definitely care.

Dove found that 82 percent of men around the world think that having a child changes their perception of what it means to be a man. And the nightmare-soothing, hair-brushing, cheek-kissing dads from last year’s Dove Father’s Day campaign, #RealDadMoments, might just be proof.
