Sorry, all you thrill-seekers: this is one activity you’ll need to sit out for over the next nine months. All that stop-and-start, jarring motion isn’t good for baby — plus hitting up against the seatbelt, dashboard, and steering wheel is essentially like being in a small car accident over and over again. That’s why you’ll notice amusement parks tend to have warning signs posted for rides and activities that are considered too risky for pregnant women. So when in doubt, check with your doctor or stick to the park’s arcade section.
