It pays to have a talk-back video monitor.

That’s what one mom learned after her twin baby girls tried to get away with gabbing and giggling when they were supposed to be sleeping.

In the short clip posted on the mom blogger’s Facebook page It’s Judy Time, Miya and Keir can be seen standing and talking to each other from their adjoining cribs.

They thought their bedtime antics would go unnoticed. But then mom talks into the monitor: “Hi babies.” They immediately drop to the mattress and pretend to sleep.

This just proves what we already know: Mom’s always one step ahead.

Looking to invest in a good baby monitor so you can stay ahead too? Check out our top picks here.

Although her twins seem to be conspiring together, Judy has the right idea by keeping them in the same room. Besides the obvious space-saving perk, keeping multiples in the same room helps them get on the same schedule. And it also allows them to comfort one another when you’re not in the room.

Watch the video below. We can’t wait to see what this duo does next.
