Your Baby Is 16 Weeks Old!
Mouthing off
Baby may start sprouting her first tooth (usually the lower middle) this month, but don’t be concerned if those pearly whites aren’t popping up just yet. It takes three years for baby to completely grow her first set of 20 teeth, so she’s got a lot of time left. In the meantime, continue to admire her expanding baby vocabulary. She’s learning to use consonants, so listen up for a “da-da” or “ma-ma”!
To-do:
Take baby to doctor
Watch baby’s zzzs
Share your mom story
[tip] When baby starts teething, massage your breasts a little before you start breastfeeding. Your milk may be taking a little longer to come out these days, and with baby’s sore gums, any extra sucking will frustrate her.
