Find little ways to sprinkle magic into the every day--turn a morning errand into a mission in your pajamas, have a fast-food dinner picnic in the trunk of your car. Channel the curiosity and wonder of your little ones.

Kerri began her career teaching high school English in New York. But when an unexpected job opportunity in Hawaii came her way, she embraced the adventure and packed her bags. What was meant to be a one-year experiment quickly turned into home. Fifteen years later, Kerri made the bold decision to take a leave from teaching to focus on her family—and in doing so, she finally gave herself permission to chase a life-long dream: writing. Once she started down this creative path, there was no looking back. Today, Kerri is fully immersed in her new identity: writer and mama—a role she loves more than she ever imagined.
