Halloween is officially here, and kids all across the country will go trick-or-treating dressed up as their favorite characters today. But for children with disabilities, who have sensory and logistical needs to contend with, the hunt to find a costume can be really difficult. Luckily, earlier this week, Amazon Prime and Magic Wheelchair stepped in to help.

The retailer and nonprofit, which creates epic costumes for kids in wheelchairs at no cost to their families, teamed up to create adaptiveHalloween costumes for kids with disabilities nationwide. Over the past few days, the kids were presented with their Magic Wheelchair creations, built with the help of local volunteers—and their reactions are heartwarming.

One recipient is 5-year-old Karter Edwards, a happy and adventurous boy despite his battle with cerebral palsy, from Berkeley, California. This year, he’ll trick-or-treat as Buzz Lightyear, thanks to local student volunteers who helped bring the costume to life on Sunday.

Parker Rhoads, a 6-year-old from Stoneham, Massachusetts, will be dressed as a sea turtle. He received his costume in front of all his family, friends and neighbors at the town’s Halloween Stroll this past weekend.

Emmy Hamiltion, a smart and active second grader from Los Angeles, will be going trick-or-treating dressed as an astronaut with her very own spaceship, while Jojo Renteria, from Alsip, Illinois, will be decked out in a creation inspired by Super Why, his favorite TV show on PBS. His costume, built by volunteers from the local DePaul University, even comes with an airplane.

Jackson Anub, an active 7-year-old who loves being outside, will also be trick-or-treating in style—with his very own dragon. His costume was inspired by How to Train Your Dragon, and it brings Toothless to life in the cutest way.

While these kids have yet to show off their costumes on Halloween, they’ve already won the holiday in our book.
